In pursuit of linguistic and corpus-based advancement, the Corpus Research Center (CRC) was established at Minhaj University Lahore. The CRC serves as a dedicated hub for promoting empirical research using linguistic corpora. It facilitates research, training, and development in corpus linguistics, supporting national and international scholars in their efforts to explore language through data-driven methodologies.
Under the academic vision of CRC, the Journal of Advanced Corpus-Oriented Research (JACOR) was founded to provide a scholarly platform for high-quality, peer-reviewed research in corpus linguistics and its applications.
